Welcome to Deadline day at CeltsAreHere.com, we will endeavour to give you the best, up to date transfer news and all the happenings at Celtic Park and Lennoxtown.
Neil Lennon has raised expectations by telling supporters he expects to be busy on deadline day. So what can we expect?
Overnight, Celtic have been linked with a season-long loan move for 27-year-old left-sided player Diego Laxalt from Milan. The two clubs are in the same Europa League group but it appears that isn’t a stumbling block for the deal. This has been reported by Italy Sky Sport and reported by Anthony Joseph back in Scotland.
Celtic are close to agreeing a loan deal for AC Milan left-back Diego Laxalt, according to @SkySport.
The 27-year-old is a Uruguayan international, who can also play as a winger or central midfielder.
Celtic’s priority is to sign a left-back before the transfer deadline.

There have been conflicting reports on Robert Snodgrass, the most reliable source close to home is Alison Conroy who has told her social media following, Celtic are not interested in making a move for the 33-year-old.
Robert Snodgrass won’t be heading to Celtic, I understand there’s no interest from the club. Also only looking to fill 1 position before tomorrow’s deadline.
