CELTIC FANS have been talking up two players in particular since last night’s 1-0 win over SK Vorwarts Steyr.

Jonny Hayes and Lewis Morgan have been singled out for special praise as both players look to make their mark this season.

For Hayes, time isn’t on his side and after a lengthy spell out on the sidelines it’s basically now or never for the Irishman if he is to live out his Celtic dream.

Lewis Morgan is at the other end of the scale, where the youngster has plenty of time to break into the squad but it may not be too long before we start seeing him more regularly if the friendly and training ground reports are anything to go by.

Both players got 45 minutes and showed they’re up for the fight to break into the squad.

Celtic signed both Hayes and Morgan from Scottish teams for relatively low prices to help improve the squad.

With Celtic fighting it out on four fronts again this season, Brendan Rodgers will have to utilise his whole squad to avoid burnout.
