As we enter the final few days of the summer transfer window, rumours and speculation about the futures of certain players are gathering. Albian Ajeti is the latest Celtic player to be linked with a move away from the club, and such news is no surprise.
The Swiss striker spent last season on loan at Sturm Graz in the Austrian Bundesliga but flattered to deceive. He has not played for Celtic since March 2022, although a move to Turkey could be on the cards.
According to Turkish outlet Karadeniz, Ajeti is in discussions with Super Lig side Gaziantep, who currently sit bottom of the table after three games. Trabzonspor have entered the fray and are also in contact with the 26-year-old.
It remains to be seen whether or not a move to either of these sides would be on loan or a permanent basis, but the centre-forward has a year left on his Parkhead deal. A move away from Glasgow would be best for Ajeti and Celtic this summer because he will rot away at Lennoxtown if he stays put.
