NEIL LENNON provided an update on his star player along with his other two first team bhoys who have tested positive for COVID in the past two weeks.
Eddy came back just under a week ago but his fitness is just not there and the Frenchman has not been part of a full training session yet since returning. He will be OUT of the game against Pittodrie.
That goes for Nir Bitton and Hatem Elhamed. Both have spoken about how the virus floored them after a positive test.
Speaking after Celtic’s defeat to Milan, Neil Lennon ruled all three out in front of BT Cameras.
“I don’t think he’ll [Eddy] be available for Sunday, He’s not done a lot. Nir Bitton is the same, and Elhamed is still not back from Israel. It will be the same squad of players as tonight”
Celtic put on a spirited second half display against Milan and can take positives from the 3-1 defeat. Neil Lennon changing the system at half time galvanised the team and got them dreaming of a comeback. We could have had an equaliser but in the end Milan got the third when we were pushing.
