The player is expected to finalise his move to the Scottish club in the coming days.

Palma began his journey to the UK on Monday night and is set to sign a four-year contract with Celtic that will see him earn £500,000 per year.

The winger, who has been a standout player for his Aris in Greece, has been lauded by his current manager as a “big loss”, describing him as a player who has been involved in almost every goal the team has scored this season.

Celtic are set to pay a transfer fee of €5 million, inclusive of bonuses, for the 24-year-old.

Celtic are actively seeking to bolster their squad in various positions, including a left-back and a centre-back, particularly with the transfer window drawing to a close. Palma’s move will hopefully be the first of many before the deadline on Friday at midnight.
