Celtic winger Luis Palma captured attention over the weekend for his activity on X, formerly known as Twitter.
The Honduran simply posted three heartbreak emojis on the platform late on Saturday night which naturally caught the attention of many supporters:

His post puzzled many, but his next one brought some cohesion. Indeed, Palma captioned a few pictures of him in his younger years playing for his old team, CDS Vida, with ‘You will return and stronger than ever’:

This could have been interpreted in the sense that his old self would soon return, but he meant that Vida would bounce back.
Over the weekend, they suffered relegation to the Honduran second tier. It is a difficult situation for the club which has been in the top flight for 17 years.
Vida holds a special place in Palma’s heart with him having made 70 appearances in red and white before his move to Greece in 2022, scoring 23 goals. He has been left gutted but his old side will undoubtedly recover.
