He signed nearly twelve months ago, sent back out on-loan to his former club – came in over the summer – scored a goal in a Champions League qualifier and then fell off the face of the earth until the weekend.
Marian Shved was marked by many supporters as one to watch this season after seeing the attacking midfielder’s exploits for his old side.
It’s not panned out like that so far with the Ukranian struggling for minutes under Neil Lennon – a manager who played no part in signing him.
There looks to be an explosive midfielder inside the player but it’s going to take time to surface in Glasgow. His second-half appearance against Ross County not really giving us anything to talk about.
Some Celtic fans were just glad to see Shved on the pitch and getting minutes. Hopefully he can start to get a bit more game time.
It’s strange to think that was the £1.8M (TransferMarkt) signing Parkhead bow.
Finally an appearance from Shved. Looks a good footballer from the brief time he was on. Seems to be aware of where players are and can thread a pass. Got to take into account the game was over and RC were spent but he’s not done a lot wrong in the mins he has been on the field.
