JEREMIE FRIMPONG has made the admission he’s eligible for THREE different countries.

The Celtic youngster could play for England, Holland or Ghana with the the latter showing interest in him right now.

However, the Celtic player would like to keep his options opened and his desire is to play for Holland at some point in his career.

The right-back is full of confidence in himself and wants to be among the best before all is said and done. It’s a great energy and goal to have for any footballer. Jeremie has a real desire to make it in the game and Neil Lennon has noticed his talent and how much the player wants it.

Backing up what he says with actions – like training at Lennoxtown after hours with the Celtic boss.

Speaking about his international desires, it’s clear playing well for Celtic will open many peoples eyes to him and if he gets his Dutch call up, he’s going to have to learn the language.

“I’m still working on my Dutch! I know how to speak it a little. If I do play for the national team I will try to learn it.” Jeremie told CelticTV.

“The language isn’t the easiest to learn. The way they speak is fast so you just have to listen to what they are saying and look at their lips carefully. My sister speaks it fluently. She has been teaching me little bits but it’s hard.

“It was English that was spoken in the house when I was growing up. That and the Ghanaian language called Twi.

“My mum would normally speak that to me but my brothers and sisters all speak English. The only Dutch they would use would be hello and goodbye.

“There is interest in me from Ghana but right now I want to play for Holland although I won’t write off Ghana. I could play for England as well. If that came about it would be between those three but I don’t have Scottish connections!”
