North Curve Celtic announced an initiative on Wednesday for Hoops fans to send the team off to Ibrox this weekend ahead of the crucial Glasgow derby.
Previously, fans were urged to meet at The Celtic Way at 3.30 pm but this morning, the Green Brigade and Bhoys groups have provided an update, asking supporters to head up to the stadium to ‘See Off The Team’ at 5 pm instead:

Although there are various weather warnings in place for Saturday, the fans will still turn up in their droves.
With no away supporters allowed inside Ibrox, this is the closest the Parkhead faithful will get to physically backing their team during derby weekend.
Things are set to change next season with about 2,500 travelling Celts being allowed into Ibrox but for now, the fans have been reduced to measures such as this to support the team for away derbies.
It is not ideal, but the fans giving up their Saturday nights is next to none and a true testament to their levels of commitment.
The Green Brigade (GB) are not representative of all Celtic fans and don’t speak for all of us but they are the focus of media attention for better and worse. I suspect most of us have positive and negative views on the GB at different times. It would be good to know more about them and how they organise and fundraise for tifos, charities, etc. Ideally it would be best to hear from them directly but, failing that, from the bloggers. How about it?
