The 23yearold Montenegrin, who joined the Parkhead club in the summer from Rubin Kazan, has made an impressive impact with five goals and two assists from his twenty Premiership appearances this season, despite most of his appearances coming in the closing stages of games, and is eager to show his manager what he can do when given the opportunity.

He’s shown some real glimpses of quality, especially in recent weeks, with two wonder goals from off the bench.

He received the Player of the Month just before the World Cup break, but as the league resumed, he struggled to kick on, with injuries hampering the winger.

Haksabanovic is enjoying his time in Glasgow, and is prepared to wait for his chance. Claiming he’s training hard, the winger said: [Football Scotland]

“I’m enjoying myself. As I’ve said before, I know there’s more to come and I’m just going to wait until I get my chance to start games. So there’s more to come.

“But I’m very happy to be here. I know we have a good squad of players, a big squad, so I’m just waiting for my time.

“I’m training hard and improving myself out there.”
