CHRIS SUTTON has been covering Scottish football as a pundit for quite some time now and his reaction to the latest Gers player to call time on Celtic’s success falls in line with many Celtic supporters.

HERE WE GO AGAIN.

Every time there’s a summer or winter break we hear the same noises coming out of Ibrox about how they will end Celtic’s dominance. There’s no issue with wanting to be the best but maybe it’s best kept to behind closed doors.

Year after year, more players come through their doors and give us the same speech and it’s tiresome. So many who have predicted this over the past four seasons are now long gone from Ibrox and a fresh batch just churn out the same opinion.

After the winter break, when it really mattered, Jermain Defoe and his teammates failed miserably to keep up with Celtic. Trailing by thirteen points before the shutdown, the Englishman has now chosen to be vocal when football is no longer on the menu.

Chris Sutton’s reaction captures it best.
