When asked about the chances of the former Celtic manager raiding Ibrox for the striker he raised a smile and called it a ‘wind up’
“I think someone is trying to wind someone up.” Rodgers told SunSport.
“I never will comment on speculation of any player.
“My focus is on the group we have now, whether we can focus and get better as a group and then with the summer, we will look to strengthen and improve then.”
Rodgers has his work cut out for him at Leicester after trading immortality for mediocrity a little over a week ago.
