CELTIC looked to have lost their three-point advantage at the top of the table. However, it will be staying the same after the Ibrox Club failed to capitalise on the noon kick off’s result.

The Rangers were held to a draw by Motherwell at Ibrox. After two goals in as many minutes, the side looked like they would cruise onto victory. However, the visitors fought back and secured the point.

Celtic still leads their rivals by three points and has a superior goal difference.

If Celtic won today, they would have been five points clear. The team will be kicking themselves, but they can breathe a sigh of relief now that they have not been punished.

The bhoys need to focus now. They face St Mirren midweek before a tough away day to Livingston on Sunday. Celtic always struggle here, but a win in Lothian could give the hoops the momentum to kick on and attempt to maintain the lead.

To repeat, Celtic are three points clear!
