Celtic fans tried to put two and two together last night when the current Bournemouth physio quit his position after seven years at the club.
Jonny King announced his departure from the English side on Wednesday morning and by Evening time he was inundated with Celtic fans looking to know if he was heading up north with his old boss Eddie Howe.
One Celtic fan direct messaged the physio who gave him a straight answer.
He said: “I can assure you I’m not going to Celtic, so you can ask all your friends to stop messaging me,”
So at least that’s sorted out. We believe Eddie Howe is to become the next Celtic manager shortly. We know he’ll be bringing some staff from Bournemouth so it stands to reason fans jumped to conclusions on the physio.
There’s really no need to change up positions like that at the club unless Eddie felt strongly about having a particular physio on board.
We await the white smoke from Celtic Park. The chase for the new manager has been exhausting but hopefully it’s been worth the wait.
