Celtic may have been put out of the Scottish League Cup at the last 16 stage, however, three notable names who have successfully contributed to the prosperous recent history of the club were reunited in the semi-finals of the competition.
Aberdeen took on Hibernian in the first last-four clash on Saturday night, with the Dons running out 1-0 winners. Pre-match, three notable former Celts were seen mingling:
Some old team mates meeting up at Hampden yesterday. Jonny Hayes did a sterling job for Celtic in his three years at the club. Broony and Lenny need no introduction, having both had hugely successful spells at Celtic. pic.twitter.com/7ZOawkLc0w

As seen, Neil Lennon, Scott Brown, and Jonny Hayes linked up before the action kicked off. Both Hayes and Brown were key contributors in Lennon’s second spell in charge of the club.
Indeed the legendary captain won countless trophies in Glasgow’s east end and had many iconic moments in green and white. Hayes is widely remembered for his goal at Ibrox in a memorable 2-0 victory, and Lennon led the club to ten major honours, including the Scottish Cup that secured the Quadruple Treble.
Brown and Lennon in particular are legends of Celtic, and Hayes bleeds green and white. From a Hoops point of view, it was pleasing to see the pair reunited on Saturday.
