Adam Montgomery had been settling into life at Aberdeen and helping the new manager find his feet at Pittodrie. Jim Goodwin is tasked with getting the Dons back up the table after Stephen Glass failed in his attempts to transform the team.
Adam was loaned out to the Dons in the January window with the hope he would get some serious game time in the same league and come back a better player.
That has hit a snag this week with the news Adam has suffered an injury that will keep him out for the next few weeks.
Aberdeen defender Adam Montgomery (on loan from Celtic) will be sidelined for a "lengthy period" after picking up a hamstring injury. Dons manager Jim Goodwin couldn't provide a specific timeframe, but confirmed he won't be available for selection for the next few weeks.

There aren’t many games left of this season and it’ll be harder for Adam to make an impact if he misses a few weeks and then has to get back up to speed.
I could envision the player potentially staying at Aberdeen beyond this season and getting a full term under his belt – if Jim Goodwin sees value in keeping the player.
We wish Adam a quick recovery.
