Former Celtic midfielder Joe Ledley took to social media on Saturday night to hail The Hoops signing of Jota after the club paraded the Portuguese star as a permanent signing on Friday.
The Welshman posted ‘what a signing’ underneath an official post from the club showing Jota staring at the famous Jock Stein post.
Joe has been a Celtic fan since leaving the club for Crystal Palace. The Former Welsh international was a huge fan favourite during his time at Parkhead. He scored some major goals and helped Neil Lennon towards some memorable trophy wins.
Joe has joined the Celtic TV team on a couple of occasions to talk about the team and has obviously been delighted how things have gone under Ange Postecoglou.
Like Joe, Celtic fans have been delighted with the signing of Jota to a permanent deal. The winger was instrumental in the club’s rise last season to become champions of Scotland once again. Coming in on loan from Benfica, his boyhood club, and making a massive difference to how the season panned out.
We can’t wait to see what Jota and the whole team do next season – especially in the Champions League.
