A lot has gone on in the past 48 hours – we’ve not been able to look at the Dundee Utd vs Celtic game on Wednesday in isolation to talk about how the game went.

The celebrations at Tannadice and the party back on the Celtic way rightly took the headlines.

However, we do want to go back to that game and remind everyone of this moment in the game some of you may already have forgotten about.

Jota almost sneaked in an incredible goal of the season effort after the awards had been handed out. Benjamin Siegrist pulled off a fantastic save to deny Jota and world class goal.

That could’ve sealed the win for Celtic on the night, but Dundee Utd would get back on level pegging shortly after this with an outstanding striker. The game finished 1-1 on the night, giving Celtic the vital point they needed to clinch the title.

We’re still waiting to hear if Jota will be at the club next season. The player is due back at his boyhood club Benfica after the game on Saturday. Ange has told CeltsAreHere.com that the club is working on deals behind the scenes, hopeful Jota will stay.
