CELTIC have been without their captain for a couple of games, with Nir Bitton taking the armband for the Hearts and Dundee United game. The Israeli was set to carry on the role for the Glasgow Derby but was sent off during the weekend’s match.
At today’s press conference, Juranovic opened up about another leader in the Celtic dressing room, Joe Hart.
“Joe Hart is incredible.
“Like a person first, then like a goalkeeper. He has a huge past behind him, and when he speaks something, you listen. That’s it.”

The majority of fans questioned signing the Englishman during the summer, myself included. looking back, Hart was one of Celtic’s best signings. The class oozes out of the guy, he is a real leader. When between the sticks, he has made some big saves almost definitely saving his team from dropping points.
Joe also laughed off the myth that he panics with the ball at his feet.
Joe Hart has worn the captain’s armband at times and it is clear to see why. He seems to have a special relationship with every member of the squad. It is a privilege to call Hart a Celtic player.
