CELTIC are set to lock horns against The Rangers at Hampden on Sunday, with the winner of the Semi-Final to face one of the Edinburgh teams.

So far this year, in their two encounters, Celtic have come out on top. Van Bronkhorst will be looking to stop this trend from growing at Hampden; otherwise, his job could be in jeopardy, with many fans already questioning his position.

Before the sides meet, The Rangers must attempt to fight back from a goal behind in the second leg of their Europa League match against Braga.

Heading into the semi-final, former Celtic man Kenny Dalglish believes that the pressure is pouring down on the Ibrox side, saying; [BBC Sport]

“There’s more pressure on Rangers to win it,” Dalglish said.

“I know they’ve done well in Europe and have a big game on Thursday at home. Whatever happens there, even if they get beat, they’ve done really well to get this far. I think Sunday would be the more important game of the two [for Rangers].

“I don’t think it’ll affect what happens with the league campaign. That’s 100% in Celtic‘s hands. There’s one [league] Old Firm game to come so if they don’t lose that it’s almost done and dusted for them.”

Celtic will be confident heading into the tie. After all, they have been in the better form in recent weeks and have a whole week in training without a midweek match to prepare for. But there’s no room for complacency.

Progressing to the final enhances Celtic’s treble hopes. Celtic will be eager to win the Scottish Cup with the league more or less secured.
