Speculation is well underway regarding Celtic’s summer business.

The Hoops have already brought in Odin Thiago Holm and Marco Tilio, but fans expect a few more incomings before the end of August.

Kieran Tierney is a player who has been widely mentioned as someone who could make a return to Celtic this summer, although common sense would suggest that such a move would be difficult.

Sky Sports Journalist Anthony Joseph has backed up this mentality. Joseph said (givemesport):

“I’m sure he would love to come back to Celtic. I’m sure Celtic would love to have him back as well.

“But I think there will be some major hurdles to overcome for that to actually happen now.”

This transfer seems like somewhat of a pipe dream at the minute.

It is certain the Celtic support would love to see Tierney back in green and white, but that looks as though it will be tough.

Moreover, a deal such as this one would break Celtic’s transfer model of buying young players for a reasonable price and selling them for a major profit.

Unfortunately, Tierney to Celtic doesn’t look like a goer at the moment.
