Former Celtic left-back Kieran Tierney has been handed a transfer valuation of up to £50 million as reports continue to suggest that European giants Real Madrid are interested in making a summer move.

It feels so long ago since we last saw KT pull on the Hoops, but the former academy graduate has enjoyed a good spell down south since leaving the club for Arsenal back in 2019, also becoming a fans favourite with the Gunners.

His form in the Premier League has also led to links away from the London side, with giants such as Real Madrid being mentioned as potential suitors for a move in the not so distant future.

As reported by the Daily Record, the Spanish side could now look to step up their interest, with a supposed £50 million valuation being suggested in the report.

Of course, it remains to be seen how accurate these reports turn out to be. But, it would signal an incredible rise for Tierney, making a move to the Spanish capital.

It would also come with some financial gain for the club, thanks to a supposed sell-on fee in the original deal, which took the full-back to Arsenal.

Even if a move doesn’t come this year for him, with the talent he has, you can certainly see one to a bigger club on the horizon in the next few years.
