When both Celtic and Real Betis were drawn in the same group, one of the first things that springs to mind for many is the Green and White Hoops which the two sides wear as their home colours.

Of course, the two team couldn’t both wear the same colour and designed strip. So, it has been announced that Celtic and Betis will be in changed colours for tomorrow night’s game.

As confirmed by journalist Andrés Ocaña, the Hoops will be sporting the pink and white third kit, which was first debuted in the 4-2 away victory against Jablonec in the early qualifiers of this competition.

The home side – Real Betis will be wearing their blue away kit due to none of the three Celtic strips of the 2021/22 campaign complying with the Green and White Hoops of Betis.

It can be strange to see the home side not wearing their home strip on occasions like this.

However, despite the two sides’ historic Green and White links, it will be a slight change going into tomorrow evening Europa League group stage opener.
