Former Rangers striker Kris Boyd has publicly conceded the title to Celtic following Rangers’ 0-0 draw with Dundee.

This result has positioned Celtic three points clear at the top of the table as the league heads into the split, with a crucial Glasgow Derby at Celtic Park yet to come.

Rangers’ recent form has been a concern for them, securing just one win in their last eight league matches. With upcoming fixtures against St Mirren and Kilmarnock, as well as a Scottish Cup semi-final against Hearts this weekend, the pressure is mounting.

The sentiment of Rangers’ dwindling title hopes was echoed on Sky Sports by pundits Chris Sutton and James McFadden, both of whom expressed belief that the league title is destined for Celtic Park this season. Boyd, faced with the current standings and the challenging path ahead for Rangers, admitted the difficulty of the situation.

“After the Rangers-Celtic game at Ibrox, it was going to be a tough ask, but it’s tougher now. Rangers can go to Celtic Park and win and there are still five goals in it, I can’t see a way back for Rangers now.”

It’s quite something for Boyd to admit that!

  1. Suppose after the unexpected bonus tonight, goal difference could possibly come into play yet?
Can’t see it actually happening all the same imo?
Will all the scum cheerleaders be able to face up to the current fact, that we are now in a very decent position within the title race now, and all without been able to field our strongest available 11 in any given game, during this campaign to date, and possibly won’t be able to either at this stage?
Or even that we remain in such a good position now, and all without us playing particularly well for about 50% of our games to date, and been generous at 50%?
And with key players and injuries not producing to there capabilites for huge chunks of the season presently, but rectified that only recently to some degree?
As average as we have been this season overall, we still are way beyond what the scum have to offer?
And remains that the current situation within the SPFL will remain intact for the foreseeable, especially with the scum remaining to lag behind ourselves with considerable distance still, especially with taking everything into consideration imo?

  2. Considering 75% of Our Support didn’t want BR back at start of the Season getting knocked out of League Cup in the 1st Rnd losing key players for it seems most of the season getting humiliated again in Champs League & the Skint Board !! Not buying Quality instead continue these Projects I HAVE TO SAY WELL DONE BRENDAN!!
