KYOGO FURUHASHI didn’t get on the scoresheet on Thursday evening even though he did find the back of the net in the first half.

The Japanese striker got his first taste of the real Celtic Park against Jablonec and it appears the support left a lasting impression.

Kyogo was ever present upfront for Celtic and was a constant thorn in the side of the whole Jablonec backline who struggled to keep up with him.

It wasn’t just the players attacking play – when Celtic were defending, Kyogo was also in the thick of it, covering so much space and tracking down.

The fans being back into the ground provided a big boost for the players who treated the fans to three goals. David Turnbull grabbed a brace while the other went to James FOrrest after a rebounded Edouard shot fell into the path of the Scottish international

It was a great night’s work for Celtic who now head into next week to play AZ Alkmaar in the playoff round of the competition.

Thursday was a night for the fans and players to come back together and for Kyogo he was blown away.

  1. Such a pity you cannot bottle the atmosphere of Paradise on a Euro night. The directors could make a fortune from bottling that. As they’re used to bottling most of their financial dealings anyway.

  2. If you could bottle my farts you could make a fortune in the illicit porn-fetish game, but alas, many things cannot be bottled and need to be savoured eau natural! Celtic Park atmosphere is no different!
