Massive news has come out of Celtic this morning regarding a certain Japanese striker.

Following a teasing video of Kyogo inside Celtic Park, it was confirmed the centre forward has signed a new deal which will keep him at the club until at least the summer of 2027.

This is hugely encouraging news for Celtic fans worldwide and a great boost following Jota’s departure last night.

Kyogo is a talismanic figure at Parkhead and one of the club’s most crucial players.

In 2022/23 alone, he bagged 34 goals in 50 games as well as three in two cup finals.

He is one of the first names on the team sheet and what he brings to the team cannot be underestimated.

Along with the club, it is terrific for Brendan Rodgers to have a top-class striker available in his side heading into his first season back in charge of the Hoops.

It will be interesting to see how the 50-year-old utilises Kyogo up top but one thing is for sure, he will score a plethora of goals and it is amazing his services have been secured for the foreseeable.
