April is the month.
If you’re waiting for Celtic to give you anything in the way of managerial appointments, structure change and what you will be charged for watching a £90 streaming service will all become clearer in April.
Why? Season ticket renewals.
We’ve done some digging on social media and when Celtic tend to start doing business with the support.
We have an example in 2018 of the club coming to the support in very early April and we’ve got examples of the third week being the target date.

Celtic will be debating what’s best to do. I don’t think the club has a real grasp of how many season ticket holders are ready to buy in again and they’ll be desperate to get those numbers as soon as possible. On the flip side, if they come to the fans with no news on where the club is heading, they risk a slow uptake and a game of chicken would begin between some supporters and the decision-makers to see who will blink first.
The only other way I can see the club coming cap in hand in April without pointing towards a new manager is significant reductions in season tickets. Given we sold out the season ticket allocation and people paid thousands to watch an average stream, there should be concern of a major drop off unless crowds can come back to the stadium or large price decreases are implemented.
