Celtic fans are holding their breath after watching James Forrest limp off during their convincing win against Livingston on Saturday afternoon.

James was a massive reason why Celtic sat with a 4-0 lead before he was taken off. The winger driving at Livingston players, dragging them all over the place.

During the second half, James pulled up and seemed to be in some discomfort. John Kennedy immediately took the player off as a precaution and now we’re awaiting the outcome.

If James were to miss next weeks Glasgow Derby through injury, it would sum up our season completely. A top player getting injured at the very wrong time.

He’s just back from injury and is looking to make up for lost time, hopefully, it’s just a tweak and he’s absolutely fine for next week.

Forrest is clearly pivotal to the 4-2-3-1 system and without him Celtic could fall away quite quickly in the Derby.

  1. HH We can’t wait on players that are at Celtic for a long time and get injured, Celtic must get players in on Contracts so when the Injured players come back there is plenty of covers and give the young players a chance. As they have been there at a very young age coming through the ranks, if Celtic trining for the young then coaching staff should know who to put in the First team saving Money as has Happened this season with young players going to Leeds United and Germany and others Q Why hh ktf
