It’s the first encounter of the week against the Jambos, with the sides meeting at Tynecastle in a Scottish Cup tie at the weekend.

Matt O’Riley was asked about a moment in the match at the weekend that went viral on social media, with Celtic even joining in on the fun and creating a GIF.

Cameron Carter-Vickers played a poor pass that ended up floating out for a goal kick. It was that bad that Celtic boss Ange Postecoglou wasn’t pleased at all, but he managed to laugh it off with the player.

Matt O’Riley ensured that all who tuned into the media conference knew CCV’s true intention, saying: [Celtic TV]

“First and foremost, Cam did try to play that on the floor.

“So I want the world to know that he tried to actually play that on the floor. That is how bad the pass actually was.”

Celtic were 5-1 up at the time, and the match was over. We’re able to have a laugh about it now, with the three points keeping Celtic nine points clear.

Carter-Vickers is normally so good at distributing the ball; it was a rare sight to watch him strike it out of play.
