Celtic have their own problems ahead of Tuesday’s tie with Midtjylland — but if it comforts anybody — the Danish side also have issues in their squad.
Danish football reports Sory Kaba refused to play in a friendly at the weekend as he tries to push through a move away from the club.
The striker scored 14 goals last season for the club and it appears his head has been turned.
More trouble for @fcmidtjylland before their #UCL qualifier vs. #Celtic as striker Sory Kaba refused to play in their friendly against Sigma Olomouc before the start of the season. [via @EkstraBladet]— DanishFooty (@DanishFooty) July 19, 2021
This could help Celtic over the two ties if the striker continues to push for a move.
I’d be wary of saying it gives Celtic any sort of advantage after what happened in the Europa League last season. The Hoops came up against a ravaged Sparta Prague side due to a lot of players isolating and we still got soundly beat.
Celtic’s issues run much deeper than a want away striker — but we have one of them too!
There is no real cohesion or direction at the moment with the new manager expected to work miracles in a short space of time.
What kind of back line do we have for tomorrow could you please let me know Cochice appreciate
