MOUSSA DEMBELE will be returning to Glasgow, but he won’t be stopping by Celtic Park [Well he might] but he’s off to Ibrox to play his old foes in the Europa League.

Lyon were placed in a group with the Glasgow club on Friday morning and now the striker will renew his rivalry with their support.

Moussa tormented the club and its fans throughout the Brendan Rodgers era. He famously flicked the ball into the back of the net at Hampden against them as well as bagging a hat-trick on his derby debut.

The French striker has never been too far away from talking about Celtic on his social media feed and has remained a fan to this day.

He will relish the chance to return to Ibrox and show what he can do with his current club.

Celtic have some mouthwatering ties in the group stages too!

Leverkusen, Real Betis and Ferencvaros await the Hoops.

A return to Glasgow for Jeremy Frimpong is on the cards too.

  1. If we want to get into Europe ,then we must play and beat the best! Bring them on, and let’s see just how far we have come in a few short weeks.! Beat the ibrokes bunch, (who could not beat a pub team who had only ten men), will not be a great big feather in our hearts but I will still be delighted when we do, and the judge us in Europe. We may still be lacking something ,but guts and endeavour will not be them!! Playing football he Celtic way is great stuff.!! Hail Hail.
