Neil Lennon has insisted that despite receiving what is considered to be a tough draw in the Europa League, he and his squad will allow it to affect things when it comes to domestic action.

Yesterday afternoon, the hoops were drawn against Sparta Prague, AC Milan and Lille. With that being a tough group, Neil Lennon has vowed that his squad will not lose care/interest in domestic action, as reported by the Glasgow Times.

”I think it will be good for us. We had it last season and it didn’t affect us.”

“We want European football and I think they both complement each other. I think it makes us better.

“It’s going to be Thursday-Sunday games. But that’s what we want. The players want it and I know the fans want it as well.”

As mentioned by the Northern Irishman, this is likely to be a hard draw but it’s what we should be looking for, a test for us as a squad, like last year.

I have no doubt that the squad will keep their own eye on, to be ready to go whenever.

In the last couple of seasons, we have shown our within the league and in the group stages on the Europa League, so hopefully we can keep that up, going into another busy campaign
