CELTIC fans won’t have to wait too much longer to see one of their star’s back in action after Neil Lennon confirmed midfielder Tom Rogic is on his way back from injury.

The Australian returned from his short summer break with an injury which has kept him sidelined until mid-July. The Celtic manager has confirmed the injury has cleared up and it’s now all about getting Tom up to speed after missing the whole of pre-season.

“He’s back out now” Neil Lennon told Celtic TV. “He looks great, really looking in good condition so hopefully he won’t be too far away but he’s missed the whole of pre-season so he has a bit of work to do.

Ryan Christie has been playing in Tom’s position and put in a man of the match performance against Sarajevo at Celtic Park on Wednesday night. The young Scottish attacking midfielder deputising well in the position.

Once fit again, Tom will be a big player for Celtic this season. When he’s at his best he is unplayable. Injuries along with a call up to the Asian Cup squad gave him little to no chance of getting into his rhythm last season.
