Ange Postecoglou has endured a vastly successful tenure so far as Celtic manager.

The Australian has won almost everything put in front of him domestically in what has been a whirlwind 21 months so far.

Postecoglou succeeded Neil Lennon in the Parkhead dugout on a permanent basis and the Northern Irishman has revealed how he has actually met with the 57 year old and still keeps in contact with him.

In an in depth interview with PLZ Soccer, Lennon said:

“I text him the odd time and I’ve met him once on Byers Road funnily enough”

“I found him very engaging, humble and you can tell that in the way he comes across”

“[He’s] a very quiet man and I just wish him well for the big games and he always comes back to me.”

It is intriguing yet not surprising to hear that Postecoglou and Lennon, two men of contrasting nature who are adorned very differently by the Celtic support, have been in contact with each other.

To hear a conversation between the two would’ve been greatly interesting and it appears Lennon was as impressed by Postecoglou as anyone would be if they spoke to him.
