NEIL LENNON has again claimed he plans to be at the club beyond the summer and didn’t understand the context of why he would be asked this after Peter Lawwell’s decision to leave.

The Celtic manager has been afforded the longest amount of time in perhaps the club’s long history to turn things around. Managers at our club in the past have been let go for much less than what we’re seeing from Neil Lennon.

So when asked if he would be looking to step aside at the same time as Peter, the Irishman didn’t appear happy with the question.

Celtic fans, even the more ardent Neil Lennon supporters have even come to the conclusion it’s time for a fresh start with a new manager. However, the Celtic manager remains in a job at the start of February, sitting 23 points behind first place, crashed out of all competitions entered to this point.

At this point, it looks unlikely that anything will move the needle for either Neil or the club to rethink his status.
