NEIL LENNON has confirmed two things this afternoon as he sat in his first pre-match SPFL press conference in five months; he is, indeed, looking for a striker and Vasilis Baraks IS his number one from the outset.
This means Scott Bain will sit on the bench and continue is role as backup goalkeeper in the coming weeks and months. Barkas has been brought in for some decent money and was a direct replacement for Fraser Forster.
Celtic have been reportedly looking for a striker but the club or Lenny hadn’t officially confirmed that was the case. Today, the Irishman made it clear the Scottish champions are in the market for another front man.
