NEIL LENNON looks to have suggested Kieran Tierney’s double hernia operation HASN’T solved the problem which has plagued the defender since early last season.

Kieran went under the knife over the summer to find a solution to the hip pain he has been experiencing since late last year and while the operation appeared to be a success, the defender is still experiencing discomfort.

Neil described Kieran’s injury rehab as a ‘slow burner’ as they look to manage the player back to being able to play at 100%.

“He’s still injured and he’s rehabbing.” Lennon told CelticTV

“He had a double hernia and he still has the Osteitis pubis problem so it’s a slow burner that one.”

We forget the player has been struggling for some time with this injury with the focus being on his transfer status.

Kieran will be desperate to just play football again with all the nonsense surrounding this summer’s window.

If Arsenal want to make a third bid for the star, they have less than a week to do so before their window closes.
