Celtic are closing in on their first January signing. Nicolas Kuhn looks set to come in the door at Parkhead.

Indeed this Monday morning, the German winger completed his medical ahead of his transfer to the Scottish champions (Kurier). The deal seems like it will be confirmed imminently. It is a matter of when not if.

For a fee that could rise above the three million pounds mark, Brendan Rodgers has got his man. Kuhn appears to be a winger who loves to cut inside on his left foot from the right-hand side. This is the style of winger Brendan Rodgers loves to work with.

He could well be in the team for this weekend’s match against Buckie Thistle in the Scottish Cup. The clash provides the 24-year-old with an ideal opportunity to make his debut and break his goalscoring duck early doors.

Kuhn could gain vital momentum early in his Celtic spell from such potential happenings.

  1. Looks a first team player badly needed we were found badly found out with a couple of injuries and had to rely on players who can’t be relied on when chips are down but Rodgers found out more about our two defeats in the league that’s why our first buys a winger we defend from the front and some players aren’t up to it they are willing but can’t must say bernardo has made a difference in that department Taylor looks a more settled player with him in midfield he’s missed jota and hiata
