Celtic welcome Atletico Madrid to Parkhead this evening in the UEFA Champions League. The Bhoys must get some European points on the board and ahead of the match, Brendan Rodgers has named his starting eleven.
Unsurprisingly, Joe Hart gets the nod between the sticks. Alistair Johnston begins at right-back whilst Greg Taylor plays opposite him at left full-back.
At the heart of the backline is Cameron Carter-Vickers, and he is partnered by the on-form Liam Scales.
Callum McGregor captains the team in midfield. There is no place for Tomoki Iwata in spite of his goal at Tynecastle. Rather, Reo Hatate continues with a man whose form has been unmatched recently, Matt O’Riley.
Up top, Kyogo will be looking to build upon his maiden Champions League goal against Lazio last time out in the competition. Daizen Maeda plays alongside him, and Luis Palma completes the frontline as he aims to bounce back from his disallowed strike on matchday two.
