Aberdeen striker Bojan Miovski was last week linked with a January move to Celtic. The North Macedonian centre-forward has been on top form for the Dons this campaign and last, indeed adding another goal to his tally at the weekend.
A move for Miovski seems to have split the opinions of many Hoops fans, although former manager Neil Lennon is all for it. He said (PLZ Soccer): “No question, no question. I’ve seen him live, I know his attitude to the game. There’s no histrionics with him, he runs the channels, and works his tail off. Everything he gets in the game he deserves and I love his attitude. He’s a really good player and I think he’s been fantastic this season.”
It’s widely known that Brendan Rodgers is after quality in January and that he wants a striker. The likes of Kyogo, Oh, and Daizen Maeda could be missing due to the Asian Cup so bringing in a centre-forward next month seems wise.
Miovski’s goal record in both Scotland and Europe is respectable. He still has room for improvement but at the minute, he seems a valid option as a January transfer target.
