NEW Celtic recruit, Odin Thiago Holm, made his debut in the final match of the Hoops’ pre-season tour of Japan against Gamba Osaka.

A goal from Bernabei secured a victory for the Hoops, who are now preparing to return home before their match against Wolves in Dublin next weekend.

Before the match, Brendan Rodgers had stated that two teams would compete, with one playing the entire first half and the other taking over for the second forty-five minutes.

Odin Thiago Holm, who is highly regarded at Celtic and anticipated to have a promising future, was part of the second-half team. He played alongside the likes of Kyogo, Oh, Haksabanovic, and several rising stars from the B-Team.

Holm was the first of the new signings that fans had the opportunity to see in action, so it was encouraging to see the young player gain some playing time.

However, fans didn’t get to see much of Holm, who was positioned in midfield alongside O’Riley.

The midfield struggled to make an impact in the second half, with the changes effectively killing the momentum Celtic had built before the break.

We hope to see more of Holm in the upcoming matches, especially with the league’s start just two weeks away.
