Oh Hyeon-gyu showcased his striking prowess for Celtic with two goals, elevating his season tally to five, and proving there’s more to Celtic’s attack than just Kyogo Furuhashi.

Despite concerns over Kyogo starting on the bench, Oh quickly allayed fears by scoring early against Hibs. His goals, one a close-range nudge and the other a display of power and assurance underlined a strong Celtic performance.
On Wednesday evening, Oh, clearly delighted with his brace took to social media to celebrate.

The South Korean’s contribution was vital before he made way for Kyogo, indicating Celtic’s depth in attack as they navigate a busy December schedule. However, Oh and Kyogo’s participation in January might be limited due to the Asian Cup.
Celtic looks like they need to bring in another striker ASAP to cope with the demands of losing their two strikers for a period of time.
If the club is doing its job correctly, we should see someone in the door very early in January during the winter break.
