UEFA announced that fans could make a partial return to Uefa matches for the first time since March – where local laws permit.

It means if the Scottish Government were to permit supporters back into grounds in small numbers, Celtic could have a 30% filled Celtic Park for Euro match days.

It continues to perplex how I can go to a pub in Scotland and watch the game with a pint and my mask off but I can’t go into the stadium, wearing a face mask the entire time and distancing from others outside my household.

The government have to address this and use their common sense on this issue. Filling pubs and planes is fine but an outdoor venue taking all the precautions possible isn’t.

Celtic fans are desperate to get back to the stadium, but of course, only if it’s safe and it appears the club are ready to provide assurances, so why not?
