It is clear for all to see that Ange Postecoglou is building something special.

When the former Socceroos boss arrived in Scotland, he had a whole host of doubters who wrote him off from day one, surrounding the sort of job he will do at Celtic, during one of the biggest rebuilds in recent memory.

However, that never put the 56-year old off, and he got to work straight away, building his new-look Celtic side, with 12 additions in the summer and a further five in the January window.

Despite a difficult start in European action and in the league, the Hoops now find themselves at the top of the table, as well as having a trophy in the bag and a place in the knockout rounds of European competition.

Not only has Ange done a brilliant job on the park, but also off it, rebuilding the relationship between the support and the players, after what was a difficult time last season, which saw that relationship affected.

Some would say it is now closer than ever, in comparison to the last few years, and that was evidently clear on Wednesday night, with the Celtic support cheering the side on to a comprehensive derby victory.

Of course, there is still a long way to go in this title race, and we are currently just one point clear at the top – Postecoglou will be the first to tell you that.

However, last night was a huge marker to set down, and now all the momentum is with us as we prepare for a massive run of important games in the coming weeks.

The most important thing at this moment in time, though, is how Ange Postecoglou has brought Celtic back to life once again, after a difficult 12 months, and we are all loving it. Long may it continue!
