ANGE POSTECOGLOU is adamant that Celtic defender Cameron Carter-Vickers is the best in the country, after he was a stand-out in Celtic’s 3-0 win over Hearts in the Scottish Cup.
The defender helped his side keep a clean sheet, keeping the Hearts forward Josh Ginelley quiet, along with a few other players who tried to get past the American international.
He was also the scorer of Celtic’s third goal, getting on the end of Matt O’Riley’s free kick, which he floated into the box, heading it into the back of the net.
Speaking after the match, Ange Postecoglou was adamant that the Celtic defender was the best in the league.
He said: [Live on Viaplay]
“He’s the best defender in the league. If anyone disputes that disputes that, I’m happy to put up an argument”
The defender has been a crucial part of the Celtic side over the past two seasons, and signing him permanently in the summer was a brilliant bit of business from the club. he’s a rock at the back, and attackers just cant get the better of him.
