There will be no train services to Kilmarnock this weekend, with rail replacement buses being deployed. The service will take two hours from Glasgow Central to Kilmarnock.
The blackout isn’t related to ongoing strikes; there are engineering works taking place on the line, with no trains using the route.

It’s a blow for Celtic fans who normally use the train services when travelling to away days, but alternative arrangements are in place. It’s worth noting that it’s possible to get a train to Ayr and make the trip from there. Stagecoach operates a service from Buchanan Bus Station to Kilmarnock.
Tough Trip In Store For Postecoglou’s Bhoys
Sunday’s game at Rugby Park will be a tough game for Celtic. The pitch is already poor, but with the heat in Scotland at the moment, it will be even drier, making it harder to play Ange’s fast flowing football.
Although, Ange won’t be making any excuses, he’ll be expecting nothing but the three points against the newly promoted side.
