Greg Taylor was subbed off during the first stages of Celtic’s 2-2 draw against Rangers at Ibrox on Monday and the extent of his injury is not yet known.

Ange Postecoglou turned to Josip Juranovic who had previously featured in the position for the Hoops last season to come in but without being harsh it can be easily said that he was well below par.

Juranovic is currently being linked with a number of clubs in Spain, Italy and England and it is very likely that he will leave the Scottish champions during this January window.

With that in mind, it is unknown whether Postecoglou would have turned to him on Monday afternoon if it had not been for a bug running through the team which caused great disruption to the starting eleven.

Argentinian fullback Alexandro Bernabei was on the bench but it is not known whether he has also been effected by the bug running through the camp.

If Bernabei is fully fit, there is no reason why he shouldn’t start the match against Kilmarnock but if not Postecoglou could turn to Reo Hatate who filled in a right back only a few weeks ago and bagged himself two goals.

It would allow Ange to get Reo, Mooy and O’Riley in the same team.

When he joined the Hoops last season, he was described as being a ‘utility player’ and had played a number of games for Kawasaki Frontale at left back meaning that he could be considered a possible option tomorrow if Bernabei is unavailable.
