CELTIC have now lined up a second match on their summer tour of Japan, with Gamba Osaka reportedly set to host the Scottish champions at the Panasonic Stadium in Suita, Osaka Prefecture, in late July. [SunSport]
The two clubs have done business before, with Celtic signing Yosuke Ideguchi from the side last January.
Gamba Osaka, managed by Spanish coach Dani Poyatos, have experience playing against overseas clubs, having held friendly matches with PSG and Frankfurt last year.
The fixture comes as a special occasion for Celtic manager Ange Postecoglou and the J-League players who he brought to Scotland with him. Japan has been keeping a close eye on Celtic since the former Yokohama F. Marinos boss took the reigns at Celtic, and the tour has excited a lot of football fans in the country.
With the visit to South Korea also on the agenda, the trip promises to be an exciting one for both the players and the fans alike.
