Celtic currently have a number of players out on loan whose futures are up in the air however there appears to be some clarity on Osaze Urhoghide’s.
The big defender signed for Celtic in the summer of 2021 but managed to make just one appearance in his first six months at the club.
As a result, he was sent out on loan to KV Oostende in the Belgian top flight in January 2022 and has been there ever since.
The now 22 year old has played 36 times for the club so far although his time there looks set to come to an end.

As of Belgian outlet nieuwsblad.be, the purchase option on Urhoghide was too expensive for Oostende last summer and that remains the case this year too.
This means that Urhoghide will return to Glasgow in the summer with his contract still valid until 2025.
It is fair to say he probably won’t be in Ange Postecoglou’s plans for the 2023/24 campaign therefore whilst he may not stay at Oostende, Urhoghide will likely have to find a home elsewhere for next season.
