Scottish football journalist Mark Hendry has delivered the state of play on Celtic’s current transfer status and the trial and tribulations of trying to get things right and what Celtic are looking for.

Nicolas Kuhn is expected to join the ranks of Celtic, a move that fills a crucial wide position Hendry confirmed. This acquisition signals the club’s commitment to enhancing their attacking options, Kuhn’s arrival would more pace into this current Celtic side.

The club, however, is not resting on its laurels. Celtic’s scouting team is diligently working to identify and secure a top-quality striker and a reliable left-back.

Despite a plethora of players being offered by various agencies, the focus remains on thorough due diligence, ensuring only the best fit.

One name that had emerged in the previous months was Tiago Araujo.

The initial buzz in November has since quieted down, with no recent developments. This lull in activity around Araujo would suggest Celtic have other targets in mind.

As the window progresses, Celtic fans remain hopeful if not a little frustrated. The potential signings, especially the anticipated arrival of Nicolas Kuhn, point towards promise.
